Stroking your neck
Recognize that your skin is intricately connected to your nervous system. Employ purposeful touch to provide comfort and access the inherent pathways that lead to a sense of wholeness within you.
In a gentle manner, stroke along the front and back of the large muscle known as the sternocleidomastoid (SCM) on each side of your neck. Begin at the corner of your jaw and continue downward until you reach your collarbone.
